Accepting these terms
Nirbhul is a question bank and model test app for HSC and university admission preparation in Bangladesh. These terms are the agreement between you and Nirbhul ("we", "us") covering the Nirbhul Android app and this website.
By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Nirbhul. How we handle your data is set out separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
Who can use Nirbhul
- The app is built for HSC and admission candidates. You must be at least 13 years old to have an account.
- If you are under 18, you should use Nirbhul with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, and they accept these terms on your behalf — particularly clauses 10 and 11, about paying.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, lent or transferred.
Your account
You sign in with Google or with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping that access to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at hello@nirbhul.com if you think someone else is using it.
The information you give us should be true. Practice statistics, batch comparisons and college groupings are only worth anything if the profile behind them is real.
What Nirbhul gives you
Depending on your plan, Nirbhul provides a question bank drawn from past board, college and admission examinations, model tests, explanations, progress tracking and revision tools. We may add features, change them, or withdraw them — see clause 16.
The questions, and their accuracy
We work hard to get the questions, answers and explanations right, and the name of the app is a promise about exactly that. We do not, and cannot, guarantee that every item is free of error. A question bank of this size will contain mistakes.
- If you find one, report it. Every question has a report button, and reports are read. That is the fastest route to a correction, and it is how the bank gets better.
- Do not treat the app as the final authority for an exam answer. Your textbook, your board's syllabus and your teacher outrank us.
- Nothing here guarantees a result. Marks, GPA, admission or a seat anywhere depend on you. Practice improves your odds; it is not a promise about them.
No affiliation with boards or universities
Nirbhul is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any education board, NCTB, any university, medical college or admission authority. Names of boards, universities and institutions appear only to identify where a question came from or which exam a test is modelled on.
The free tier
The free tier is permanent and usable. It limits how much you can do in a day — how many questions you can answer and how many explanations you can open — and the current limits are shown in the app when you reach them. Limits reset daily.
We may change these limits. If a change makes the free tier meaningfully smaller, we will say so in the app rather than let you find out at the gate.
Premium plans
Premium removes the daily limits and opens the full bank, model tests, explanations and progress tools. Plans are sold by duration; the durations available, what each includes and the price of each are shown in the app at the moment you buy.
Prices can change. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for — you keep what you bought, for the period you bought it. The new price applies to your next purchase.
Every grant of premium has an end date, whether you bought it, earned it through a referral, or received it as a trial or from us directly. That date is visible in the app under your subscription. When it passes, the account returns to the free tier. Nothing is deleted.
Trials, referrals and promo codes
- Trials. If a free trial of premium is active on your account, its end date is shown in the app. Premium ends on that date unless you buy a plan. A trial is offered once per person, not once per account.
- Referrals. Inviting a friend can extend premium for both of you once they qualify. The reward, the qualifying condition and the maximum you can earn are shown on the referral screen, and we may change them for future referrals. Days already earned are yours.
- Promo codes. Codes give a percentage discount, may be limited in time, in number, or to particular people, and are checked again at each purchase.
- Abuse voids the reward. Fake accounts, self-referral, bulk signups, or codes obtained or shared in ways they were not meant for — we can cancel the days granted, refuse future ones, and suspend the accounts involved. Referral days have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.
Paying
Payment is made through the mobile financial services offered at checkout in the app. You enter the number you paid from and the transaction ID, and we match that against the payment before activating your plan.
- All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Your provider's own charges are yours to bear.
- Activation is not always instant. Payments are verified before premium is granted. If your plan has not appeared within 24 hours of paying, email hello@nirbhul.com with the transaction ID and we will sort it out.
- A wrong or reused transaction ID, or one that does not match a payment we received, will not activate a plan.
- Keep your transaction ID. It is the record of your purchase and what any question about it will turn on.
Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 7 days of a purchase, and we will return the amount you paid. Email hello@nirbhul.com from your account's email address with the transaction ID. Refunds go back to the number you paid from, and we process them within 14 days of accepting the request.
After the 7 days, a plan is not refundable, including for a period you did not use. Premium granted free of charge — trial, referral or a grant from us — is not refundable at any point, because nothing was paid for it. Deleting your account does not refund the time remaining on a plan.
Expiry, and no automatic renewal
Nirbhul does not charge you again automatically. A plan runs for the period you bought and then stops. There is no standing instruction on your account, nothing to cancel, and no charge you have to remember to prevent. To continue on premium you buy again.
If that ever changes — if we introduce a plan that renews on its own — we will tell you clearly before you buy it, and you will have to agree to it separately.
Acceptable use
Use Nirbhul to study. Do not:
- Copy, scrape, bulk-download, republish or resell the question bank, explanations or any other part of the content.
- Share your account, or use one account for a group, a coaching centre or a class.
- Reverse-engineer the app, or use bots, scripts or modified clients against our servers.
- Try to get past the free-tier limits, the paywall, or any other restriction by technical means.
- Upload anything unlawful, obscene, hateful or someone else's — including as a profile photo.
- Interfere with the service, other students' use of it, or the integrity of any real examination.
Breaking these is grounds for suspension or termination under clause 17, without a refund.
Who owns what
The questions in the bank come from past public examinations. What is ours is the work around them: the compilation and correction of the bank, its structure by subject, chapter and topic, our explanations, the model tests and their blueprints, the app itself, its design, the Nirbhul name and logo, and everything on this website. These are protected by copyright and other rights, and belong to us or our licensors.
While your account is active we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and its content for your own study. That is the whole of the licence. It does not let you distribute the content, publish it, teach from it commercially, or feed it to any other product or model.
What you upload and report
You keep ownership of what you put into the app — your profile photo, and the notes you write when reporting a question. By sending a report you allow us to use it to check and correct the content, and to fix the item for everyone. Corrections we make to our own content remain ours.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Nirbhul running and will not pretend it always will. The service can be interrupted by maintenance, a failure at one of our providers, or your own network. Features may be added, changed or removed, and questions may be added, edited or withdrawn as the bank is corrected. We do not promise any particular feature will exist forever.
Suspension and ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings — see the account deletion page.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks clause 13, abuses referrals or promo codes, or is used to defraud us or another student. Where it is fair to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to explain. For a serious breach we may act immediately. An account ended for a breach is not refunded.
What we do not promise
Nirbhul is provided as it is. Beyond what is written in these terms, and to the extent the law allows, we give no other warranty — in particular no warranty that the content is free of error, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it is fit for any purpose of yours beyond study.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for an exam result, an admission outcome, or an opportunity you believe you lost. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top changes with them, and for a change that materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Nirbhul after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not, delete your account.
If a clause of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
